Chapter 275
With that, the teacher turned and left. The siblings exchanged a glance before following her into the office. The room was spacious, its air thick with tension. The moment they entered, they saw a familiar face sitting at the desk—Justin. He was glaring at a pile of scattered photos on the table, his expression furious. The atmosphere in the room was heavy.
In front of the table stood a boy, his head bowed and reluctance written all over his face. When the siblings entered, the teacher announced, “Robb is here!”
The boy looked up, and as soon as he saw Stella, his face darkened. “Why are you here?” Justin demanded, his tone harsh.
Stella was equally confused. “The teacher asked me to come along. Why? What did Robb do?” Her mind raced, wondering if Roger had caused trouble at school.
Roger kept his eyes fixed on the boy, his expression hardening. “Why are you here?” He stepped toward Robb, who still wouldn’t look him in the eye, instead turning his head away.
Roger’s gaze then shifted to the photos on the table, and his eyes widened in shock. “Why do you have these?” he asked, voice rising.
Stella walked closer, following his gaze. Her heart sank as she saw the images. They were all pictures of her and Justin—taken during the conversation they’d had in the booth that day. She remembered that day clearly. She and Justin had spoken briefly, and he had mentioned Weston having a lover. She hadn’t taken it seriously, telling him to keep his distance before walking off. The last thing she expected was for someone to snap pictures of them.
Justin remained silent, his face set in a grim expression.
The female teacher sneered, breaking the silence. “Jack suspects that Justin and you have some kind of relationship. He’s been giving Robb higher marks than he deserves. The two of them are now competing for the top spot, and Jack believes your relationship is why Robb has been stealing his place.”
“No way!” Stella blurted out before she could stop herself. “Robb isn’t that kind of person!”
Roger’s face darkened as he turned toward Jack. “We’re roommates, and now you’re betraying me?” His voice was laced with anger, his fist clenching as though ready to strike at any moment.
Stella quickly moved to calm him, placing a hand on his arm. “Roger, calm down!”
The teacher stared at the scene, shocked by the tension. “This is the school. Do you think you can act this recklessly here?”
“Enough!” Justin snapped, his voice sharp and commanding. “He’s my student. I’ll handle this.”
The teacher fell silent, though her eyes remained wary. “Justin, I need to understand what’s really going on here.”
